History of The MW Company?

Howdy, Boys:
Is there any print information out there on history of the M&W Company? I am impressed by their innovative ideas and aggressive approach to offer products to improve the letter series Farmalls. I almost get the impression M&W was formed by some IH engineers - as a second career or afterhours business - who saw ways to make things even better than IH made them. When was it formed? When did it die? Did they only produce products for IH tractors, or other brands also? Where were they located? Did they offer anything besides live hydraulics, 9-speeds, govenors, hand clutches? mike
