Farmall H H-4 Mag

I was reinstalling the mag on my H the other day, and I (not knowing anything about a mag,) tried to manually turn the rotor over to #1. I accidently broke the plastic shaft that the rotor attaches to. I pulled the gear and shaft from the mag, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to reinstall it so it will be in time? There are no marks that I can see, so anyone's help would be appreciated.
