Well.....judging from most of the comments below, I must be in a minority here! My wife got me one from C&G for Christmas, and I like it! True, the pictures are scanned and the detail isn't always as good as I'd like, but it's at least as good or better than a typical photocopy of a dealer's page with greasy thumbprints all over it! Since I didn't have easy access to paper manuals, this is a BIG improvement for me! The CD is easy to use, the pictures can be blown up to larger sizes, and printed. By checking the part #s of pieces for different models it's easy to see if a part off one model is the same as the part used on another. It's also easy to find which parts were used as upgrades on certain models. Personally, I think the thing is GREAT!

Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
