Dad tried several different types of fenders on the tractors I did fieldwork with when I was a real young kid but basicly they ALL got taken off and forgotten about. Two tractors, a couple green tractors that snuck onto the place had fenders, a jd R diesel and the 4010-D. We also put a set of Ford clamshell fenders on My Super H but after running Dad's M without fenders I may take those off. They have more of a curve over the tires than the stock IHC ones but they still did absolutely NO good at protecting the operator for mud or debris. Plus they make getting into the seat such a pain.
