scotty: I did manage to convince Marg. to go with me to town. She was a bit skeptical at first, but I convinced her the 1/2 ton of steel I had in the back of F-150 would let me go most places. By the way the steel probably only went about 300#. It was actually quite good going around here mid day. We are now currently getting another layer of ice. The one that's bothering me is the build up on power transmission lines. They didn't salt or sand those.
