I think that would depend on what kind of implement and the date the implement was made. Usually things were red or white or blue or black depending on what they were and when they are made. During the war years some colors were hard to get and the paint colors depended on what was available. Some times the cultivators/sweeps were laquored with clear. I also read where they were painting "Texas Sweeps" an Orange color and after a vote were allowed to continue with the orange. Also saw where the sweeps were a gold color.
