You can get them recovered, but you can buy a whole new covered seat pan for the same or less money -- depends on how original you want to be. Red and white was never sold by IH. The early ones were black canvas, all I have seen were silver canvas, I do not know the serial break, if there was one. I prefer silver vinyl, it is easier to clean; canvas, unless it has been vastly improved does not last and is hard to clean, if you care about that.
