Hi Johnson, I assume it is a gas engine B414 as the Diesel has only gauges no dash lights. On the gas model there are 2 dash lights: Oil pressure warning light on left hand side of dash near engine coolant temperature gauge. If it is on after engine starts this indicates low oil pressure or bad oil pressure sensor. SHOULD NOT RUN ENGINE WITH THIS LIGHT ON because if it is true low oil pressure severe damage will occur to engine. The other light is on right side of dash by ignition switch and it is called the ignition warning light and should come on when the ignition switch is turned to the on position and should go out when the engine starts and the generator starts charging. If this light stays on when the engine is running, indicates the generator is not charging properly or maybe someone replaced the generator with an alternator and did not wire up the light correctly. Hope this helps JimB
