They will burn gasoline if set up to run it, most are. Some were setup and factory equipped to burn gas to start, and diesel to run (as a diesel), Some were sold that started on gasoline and switched to distillate/tractor fuel when warm. Some like that were setup to operate in that way but with Kerosene. Some were (later) converted to run on propane. Some (used for pumping were stationary and setup to run on natural gas. Other than atomic, they can be made to run on almost anything:-) JimN
