The bellypump has a control valve that is not two way, and is very "built in" to the body of the pump. It is not reasonable to use that valve. It is ok to use the belly pump housing as a resivoir (but it is not high capacity. People have taken all parts out of them and sealed up the shaft holes and plugged the connections. They then used the drain and filler holes for connection to the system. From the pressure out of the new pump, the pressure hose goes to the input center of the open center spool valve (one or more). Then the opposite side exhausts into the resivoir. Th pressure to the cylinder/s go into the ends of the spool Up and Down ports. From the bottom of the resivoir a reinforced (suction type hose) goes to the intake of the new pump. See diagram. JimN
