seen alot of weird things done by yankee know how, but when i see chain drives off of pto`s i just shivvvvver, Hope it has a good shield on it,solidly mounted ! in my book chains and pto`s are the worst case scenerio for a disaster just waiting to happen. unshielded pto shafts are bad enough. had a mennonite farmer 2 farms down from me 3 yrs ago. get wrapped up in a chain drive assembly on a pto, he left behind a wife and 6 kids. the local volunteer fire company responded and went back to the trucks ,they had to call in a special team to come in shut off the tractor and bag the poor man up.
