Iknew a guy who put a 350 Chevy into a Massy 44. He used a transmission ahead of the regular one to cut down the RPMs and he did a really nice job on it. It was only for play, not for work. I also saw on a Green Magazine, a chevy engine put in an A. You had to look twice to notice the difference. They even kept the hand clutch. I thinnk you can do whatever you want to do if you have enough money and time and skill. The thing you have to realize is that you won't have a work tractor, it will be toy to show the boys(or girls). If you slow a V8 down enough to to run at tractor speeds you will loose all the torque.
