Jay: I bought a bunch of it 15 years ago for making fast hitch forks 1-1/8 x 3, I've forgotten the exact price but it was about 3 times the price of mild steel. I was at a steel yard last summer, he was letting me brouse through the odds and ends, and I stumbled across some cold roll, 1-1/8 x 3 about 3' long. Usually they'll gve you a deal on those odds and ends, not this guy it was $60. for that one piece.
