NEVER send credit card info or any financial info by email. Call them, or update it the next time you make a transaction. I frequently, probably too frequently, give credit card info over "secure" sites on the internet. Last summer my credit card number was stolen, I believe from an internet transaction, could have been a local store, but I don't think so. The amount requested was much larger than my usual purchase. That raised a red flag and the card company called me. Once I confirmed that the person calling me was not a scam artist, I had them delete the charges, and got a different number and all is well. I will continue to buy over the internet, but will keep a close eye on the charges via my banks web site.
