I've used ebay and paypal for years and never had a problem. Gotta realize that those online businesses couldn't have grown as huge as they are if it was standard procedure to rip people off. According to some consumer-protection sources, giving your credit-card info online(to sources you know are secure) is actually safer than putting a check in the mailbox. Might take awhile for me to believe that, but that"s what they claim. But like mentioned before, NEVER respond to ANY email claiming to be from ebay, paypal, etc. that you didn"t initiate. Instead go directly to their website(type in the www.whatever- into your address bar) and log on there to your personal account with them. If there actually IS a "problem with your account" or even if they've actually sent you an email, it'll show up there. For what it"s worth, when I get those suspicious emails from paypal or ebay or wherever, I hold my cursor over the links included in the email and it shows at the bottom of the screen what the link is that they are gonna try to send you to. It"s NEVER been the real web address for ebay or paypal. Usually those names aren"t in the address shown at all.

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
