I would agree with Old on tearing the engine down. You need to measure the crankshaft or have it measured at your local auto machine shop. To be sure you are going to have good oil pressure you need close tolerances on the rod and main bearings. The same on cam bearings. Those sleeves need to be measured too. If they worn beyond the wear limit I would install a new sleeve kit. Check that oil pump for wear too. You don't want to have to pull that engine apart the second time. Hal
