Hi Jim, I just got back to my tractor today and wanted to ask a few questions. I am going out to buy a new solenoid today,I bought a new battery yesterday and The solenoid still buzzes. So I am assuming that it is no longer working. I will install this later today and I hope this works. If I still get a "buzzing" at the solenoid what would be my next step? The starter. I just re-read your post about taking it off and bench testing it. I will try that also if the new solenoid does not work. One question. I am checking to see if there power going to the cranking motor with a probr light. I have power at the solenoid, at batt. and cable running from solenoid to batt. BUT, I do not get a power indication at cranking motor post. This is why I think it is the solenoid. What is the best way bypass solenoid to check starter? Thanks, Paul
