IH bought out Accurate Engineering around 1919, well before the H-4 entered into production in 1939. H-4s were used on all Letter sereis tractors on up except for Cubs- Magnetos used on Super W-6s were H-4s. I suspect the H-4 serials start quite low and work up. I know the archives in Madison has some of the later H-4 monthly serial numbers, but I've never seen the earlier ones, never looked for them either. By the end of 1941, IH had alread produced around 200,000 letter series tractors.
