If it doesn't crank after doing what Fromjb2 suggested you should pull the starter and connect a battery to the starter. Then see if the starter
drive (bendix) is energized when you short across
(just touch) those small terminals on the solenoid with a screwdriver. Keep your hands away from that starter drive when doing this.
If that starter drive doesn't move. You prbably need a new solenoid. Hal
