I got my 1066 back from the local IH shop and had them replace the sleeves and orings(where the 2 point arms mount) that were leaking. They also put in new clutch discs in the pto and did a clutch/TA and trans. brake linkage adjustment. The mechanic is a 60's hippy looker but he is a good mechanic and anything he has ever done for me was right on and to boot, he is a super guy. Question is when I pulled the tractor in the barn, I eased it to a post in the corner trying to get all the room I could. I got it up against the post tighter than I should have with contact. With the clutch depressed, it wouldn't roll back to relieve the pressure and couldn't shift the hi/lo into neutral. So I thought well I would just kill it and when i did it backed off and relieved pressure. Does this mean that my trans. brake is still not adjusted correctly and causing the binding linkage. Before I took it in, you could depress the clutch and it would make a little lurch forward before stopping.
