Ok thanks. I found the flat surface by the fuelpump. The number is gone. Looks like the block was removed at one time and welded. There is a number on a flat surface by the govener but it looks like a part number not a serial number. Oh well thank you for the information. I bought an original data tag for a F-14 so I guess my F-14 will have the serial number on the data tag I bought. If I ever part with my F-14 I'll let the new owner know that is not its original serial number. Another question. What steering wheel did the F-14 have? Mine has a cast steering wheel. I looked at pictures on here and I see rubber coated steering wheels on everyones F-14. My wheel looks original and neet so I will keep it. Michael Hale
