I've been trying to fix this problem for some time now. The fuel sending unit in my Farmall 560 gas broke some time ago, I know it was the sending unti because when I grounded the sending unit wire the gauge went to full. So I went and bought a replacement from a Dealer, its made by A&I and is part number 378427R94. I took it home and tried it but it did not work since my gauge was a Rochester (Dial No 5-90049). So since they do not make a Rochester sending unit anymore I bought the Stewart and Werner gauge. Hooked it up and it still didn't work. I took it back to the dealer and we tried it and still didn't get it. Then I bought a sending unit directy from Case IH and that unit did not work either. It would go to full when the unit was at full and empty when at empty but there was no in between. They even had a mechanic try to get it to work and it wouldn't. If anyone has any ideas I'd like to hear them, also could I buy a kit (not Case IH or A&I) that would work in this tractor from like a car parts dealer or something?
