GEJD: 100 hp would have been the rated hp when new, it could well be turning 120, I wont argue that. In my experience CaseIH is still just about the best place to find parts. Without seeing tractor I'll not make a judgement call on the price you paid. I will tell you this, average looking tractors of this size can gobble up $15,000. in one awful hurry, if your going to turn it into a working tractor. I bought one of these new, ran it 15,000 hours and never heard tell of some of the repairs you see guys regularly discussing on this page, and on tractors with a 1/3 the hours mine had. I can only assume time is as much of a factor as wear and tear on some items. I'm not trying to be critical, just giving cold hard facts.
