On the US National Network (mainly interstate system) there is no overall length limit for tractor SEMI TRAILER or truck SEMITRAILER trailer combination. Trailer are limited to 53 feet with maximum of 48 feet from king pin to rear axle. CFR 658.13 (Federal Code of Regulations) (b) (3) No state shall impose an overall length limintation on commercial vehicles operating in truck tractor- SEMI TRAILER or truck tractor-SEMITRAILER-trailer combinations.
