Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe you have to split the tractor to get the flywheel out. You can't replace the rear seal without removing the flywheel.

If a WD6 is anything like an M, the clutch disk and pressure plate should be removable without splitting the tractor, but the flywheel isn't.
