Some M head updates depending on when they were done may very well have the LP head. The LP heads weren't used until about mid way thru the 400 production serial numbers. I can't tell you the exact head number, but the head is noticeably different than an M head. The difference is on the manifold side of the head. The LP head has a kind of protrusion out towards the manifold.
There is a guy from Ohio, Randy Hall, who pretty much knows LP's inside and out. He may post a response to you.
