Ih2444: Yes it is the clutch housing, I've now seen a photo, and there is a new twist in here, The tractor serial number is 1271, however the model is A-414, Australian. I can clearly read the serial tag and it is as follows A-414 A-414 1271. I can also clearly read the casting part number and it is 3044048 R1. The hood is baged 434, however I told the owner someone must have changed the hood or badges. I have not seen the grill. I have no idea what happened to this tractor. He sent me photos of both ends, both sides as well as top and bottom of that casting. Every photo shows cracks some as wide as 1/2", however there are no section broken out of the casting anywhere. I have never seen anything like it, and I've seen tractors that had been involved in road accidents with cars, trucks and even trains. He claims there are no cracks elsewhere on the tractor.
