I am looking at a 450 D in the local salvage yard and wondering a few things about it . The hood side pieces are gone , will parts from a 400 G work, also the hyd pump and dist are gone along with misc other parts, it has a fast hitch . How many parts from a gas 400 will work and how much trouble am I in for if I buy this tractor ? Worse thing I see is the fuel cap and exhaust are missing , they want $750 for it. Also I didn't see any #'s for the block , so how do I know it's a 450 ? I think you can view pic's here http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v646/Wimpfarm/DSC02096.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v646/Wimpfarm/DSC02093.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v646/Wimpfarm/DSC02104.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v646/Wimpfarm/DSC02106.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v646/Wimpfarm/DSC02129.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v646/Wimpfarm/DSC02124.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v646/Wimpfarm/DSC02114.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v646/Wimpfarm/DSC02103.jpg Thanks........

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”.
