Restorations can be hard to do at times. I am somewhat of a pureist at heart. I looked at the mower that I have in my drive way. Those pulleys were always red from my observation. I will say this. I have seen NOS parts that were not the same color as the item on an assembled unit. I can also immagine that when they ran out of blue paint, they would just use red paint, maybe red could be substituted for blue but not visa-versa. There are exceptions to many things. I will paint them red. Thanks, Terry
