Yes you can find a cover for tach hole. If the 3 holes are on same level as choke and switch they were for fuse holder and button, light switch and optional cigarette lighter. If its the 3 big holes above empty its the gages missing as other poster said. Extra bracket is used between tach and instrument cover when mounting. Also if going to use tach you should check to make sure all parts are there to drive tach cable at distributor drive housing. Lot of times the tach cable drive gear will be missing some teeth.
