The TA can not be adjusted without that handle. It will not work without that handle. So I sussest you get a handle. I may have one. I will look to see. Email me if you are interested in one. I don't know how much the elimination kit cost, but TA's are a little high. I would do as the vet suggested and see about one of the newer style TA's. I assume it will be the same amount of trouble for each one. However there may not be much wrong with what you have. Are you sure the clutch is slipping or the roller and ramp set up in the unit? Parts are available for them and with the book, you can fix it yourself. They are not as bad as some think. But if you keep the TA you will need that handle.
