While changing the thermostat on my H yesterday I had one of the long bolts for the top part stuck badly. I dug into my creative bag of tricks and found a good way to get it out without twisting it off. Pulled the whole housing off where it hooks on the block and put it in the freezer for a few hours, then pulled it out and put the torch to the side where the bolt goes and heated it up good. Came right out! I used that trick when putting the pressed on bearing on the front trans gear. put bearings in oven at 200 deg and gear in freezer, bearings literally fell into place. Just don't let the little woman see parts in the freezer! (Mine just shook her head!) Good thing I don't have a dishwasher!
