It is strange that in the state of minnesota you have to pay yhr 18.2 cents per/gal Tax on ag use gas! You will get it back IF you apply for the refund. I just don't understand why they don't dye it and make it tax free...... obviously the STATE is not worried about it. Also the u.s. government is afraid that minnesota dosent require dye be added to farm use gas that the feds say ok you gotta pay the 18.2 cent's up front til you prove it was for ag use. I say let the farmers run RED diesel and RED gas in the cars and trucks as they FEED THE WORLD!!!! farmers make up less than 1% of all cars trucks on the road it is stupid that everytime i go past the stock yards they pull me over and "dip" my tank looking for red fuel. I have to have 2 tanks at my house if i wanna buy bulk. I can see dying the tanks but leave farmers and there trucks alone and worrie more about what is comming across our boarders. I only get around 118 dollar refund on my AG gas refund check, it is stupid. They dont dye the gas why should they dye my diesel? but in minnesota they dont charge state or fedral taxes on diesel/propaine/kero/100 high oct. electric runs around 11 cents a kilo watt hour, that is very high for minnesota as my dad only pays 6.9 cents a kilo watt in the summer and 6.2 cents in the winter. Goodhue county co-op charges almost DOUBLE!!!!! oh ya but in 20 years i will get a check evey year for 100 dollars. I whis excel energy would run a line next to theres as i would sing on in a hart beat and run electric everything! as excel can only charge so much as they a regulated by the state.

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
