George, After trying to get my camera to focus and get a somewhat decent picture, I took a picture and posted it on the help identify gallery. You can see that what I am calling an I is stamped deeper and larger then the font of the 466. What do you make of this? Could 1 to 500 be used for replacement engines? I know it is typical for serial numbers to start at 100 or 500 etc and should have looked this up. This is the only I that I can find on the B. Does anyone know were the the date stamp would be on the torque tube or any other casting?
