I agree with george - I use 6011 for almost everything and it does fine. The more you clean it the better, but 6011 blows the paint and rust off better than anything else I can use with my AC 225. I did learn this weekend how useful a wire wheel for the sidegrinder is for cleaning up first, and how much better it does than the chipping hammer and wire brush for cleaning off the slag before running another bead. Also re-learned that frayed jeans and arc welding don't mix. Godd Luck, Wm
