Well this sounds like someone dropped the park loc while it was still moven and ya took one or more teethe off the gear in the range transmission . And if ya got a cab it's got to go and a split at the range to speed transmission is in order along with bull pinions and top rockshaft housing as the the ring and pinion have to come out and she ain't going to heal herself. My one buddys kid did that to there 706 and i have fied several others over the years . . since you have the cab ya have to pull the cab or at least leanit back and pull the range transmission cover and look if it is as i said you'll see it .
