You can look closley on the gears and there will be a indent on the gears......line them up and you are set. if not mark them yourself and turn it oe caug at a time untill you get spark out each hole. I like to use the unsuspecting kids or wifr for this part....... as it will only fire out one hole at a time in the direction or the rotor. but if the wife has no clue......its like playing rulett! any how if you got 3 kids and a wife have each one grab a wire then turn the mag. at each click you should get a diffrent person of your family to get "jolted" and is rather a interesting experment. especally if they hung on to it before and got no shock! they will be like im not afraid, utill mr lighting bolt hits them in the butt! (in fairness i hung on to it too) seriously look for the indents on the little gears and line them up. jonnny2006
