Super h stage 1 Worth 2975?

I saw this super H on here and was wanting your opinion.....I paid 3650 for a late 53 stage 2 super H with wide front and new tires. are they worth more in MI? assuming it runs perfect and all the gears are perfect. There was one on ebay that looked just as nice and was a low serial number i think 722J was the number. the guy had to run the thing 3 times and got 1200 or so for it. have the stage 1's gone up in price since last year? all comments welcome
