Most of todays modern automobiles have them. in manual transmissions usually the bottom drain plug is magnetic. All of the metal shavings from break in or wear and tear will stick to it and when you go to change your oil you'll have a glob of fuzzy shavings all over the plug. I do all of mine on the machines I rebuild. Just drill into the end of the plug to make a pocket, drop a little magnet in, and epoxy over. I use rare earth magnets which are VERY strong. One pencil eraser size will hold up the whole oil pan on the 100. You can get them from Radio Shack. Use JB weld to retain these in the pluc.
