Well, thats a breather cap. The kind with a filter at top and lets crankcase breathe. Does yours have a sealed solid type cap or is it a filter type? Ours is solid cap with a seperate crank case breather tube which points down along opposite side of engine. If yours is like that too- I think thats the wrong cap for your setup.
