Yeah, I think my H was shadetreed also. wires were hooked up wrong, stuff loose, wrong battery the list goes on and on and on (like some of my posts!) The last one I found was while taking off the muffler to get the hood off and I noticed the pipe moving, well I just thought it was loose threads, nope! it was the whole manifold! I don't know why I was suprised. I had battled a slight miss from too tight valves when I got it and thought I was going to have to grind the valves. I tightend up the manifold one full turn on every nut and she died. Too rich at idle now! anyway, readjusted the carb and it purrs like a kitten with a belly full of cream! Too bad you can't hear it over the racket from the tranny unless the clutch is pushed in. dummy me bought it because it looked good! At least I KNOW it WILL be good when I get done. I have had a lot of good help on here too!
