After thinking about that pickup, I think it only has a bearings on the ends of the teeth bars, next to the bale chamber. It is mounted on a little arms and rides a cam made on the end cover of the pickup. This cam is the part that will wear out by running the pickup with a bad bearing. It has 7 or 8 years since I rebuilt mine and will have to go and look at it to make sure. Never the less, I assume it will need a good going over.
