Thanks for all the great advise! I've been troubleshooting this problem of not starting for a week and finally it dawned on me to pop the cover to check the valves. Sure enough there were three of them stuck open. I've got all three moving but will continue to soak them and tap them over the next couple of days. Hopefully she'll be running this weekend..
