Our corn here is funny, some guys got it in early and then the rains hit and delayed the other fields by a couple/3 weeks. We have corn almost going to tassle and some that is chest high. The early planters have some water stressed corn in low spots and the late planters don't seem to have that. If it keeps going like it is with the rain coming once in a while and good sun we should have a bunch of smiles at harvest time around here. I am sure in Owen county where my M is they got over 2 inches today and it is hill country. I just hope my road repair held! Had the creek bypass the culverts, cut through the bank and run down the road washing out a 30 ft long stretch. Had to put rip rap down and #2 on top. That creek upstream from thwe road stays damp most of the summer but a heavy rain will turn it into a white water river quick! down stream it flows slow all year because there is a dandy spring there. I read the post on the other board about the easment problem you have. I know what you mean, The road I am talking about is an easement and a half mile long just to get to the corner of Dads property. The land that the easement goes down has new owners so we are taking things slow and easy with them.

No. I am just happy to have their friendship. At least the word "farmer" is in my title. But what is the attraction? How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
