Take the four bolts out holding the seal retainer and it all comes right off. The old seal has a double seal thats a lot thicker than the new ones. I installed two seals and packed the middle with greese. The tricky part is getting the seals back over the seed drive shaft without making the seal lip curl back. What I did was find a piece of pvc pipe the same size as the seed drive shaft and slide the seals on it first. Then butt the end of the pvc to the drive shaft and slide it off onto it. Use some greese on the seed drive shaft first to make it all slide better.

Theres a gasket there you need too.
