Almost all rebuilders adjust the prssure plate before they ship so don't mess with that. What you need to do is adjust the clutch linkage from your clutch pedal to the clutch shaft. As your old clutch wore the fingers come back so the linkage rod had to be shortened to compansate. Now it is to short so you need to lenthen it out to fit your new clutch. This procedure also requires you to adjust your TA dump valve and transmission brake. Am owners manual has the procdure as well as an I&T manual. The tractor vet has also given the procedure several times on the board. Just search the archives for tractor vet.
