Jimer, I believe you may find what I say interesting to try out.
The forces on the driver's vlutch leg in reverse (even on a U) are such that the instant the clutch starts to move the tractor, the driver is moved forward, pushing down the clutch a little bit. the driver then lets out the clutch more, and it happens again.
Try holding the edge of your clutch foot shoe against the tractor to buffer the position of your foot. If it fixes the problem, the clutch is fine. JimN
