Im repairing a bad rh axle bearing for my wives uncle on a 47 M. He needed a new axle so he got 1 from a salvage yard and they gave us the entire axle housing so we just replaced it all. After sealing it all up and preparing to put the wheel on Ive noticed the newly installed axle has only one keyway groove in it. It appears to me that the key on both the rim and the half moon piece is molded all as one. Can a guy find another half moon piece without a keyway or would it work to have this one machined out?
