Ah so thats what happens to my small garden. I didnt know it was them eating sweet corn, and tomatoes! Farmers are very smart folks! I didnt see any slugs yet tomatoes have been eaten just the same. Those traps are poisenless right? Then you have to add some to the bucket. I need to look into this. I know why they came however. We have 3 acres line solid full of Rosasharen (sp?) Bushes. The humming birds love them, but so do those pesky beetles. They just hang off them. I could prob take 20 gallons a day off those. Im surrounded by farms out here in PA mountain land. Hey it might help if I use it like a super trap hehe. As soon as they bloom they are just covered. This year Ill have to take some active steps. Instead of just looking at them and shaking my head. You guys have problems with tent catapilers too? I sure do. Cut every choke cherry off our property. They jsut breed in those things.
