Id definatly check the filter. I have a diff tractor but our filter was crushed it was so clogged! The pump just sucked it in some lol. Oh and while your draining it a bit (prob up to 6 gallons or so) you can see what condition the hydro oil is in. If it looks like mud change it. Or if it looks like water is trapped in it (emulsified) this will make it foam and act funney. Ours was a muddy color looking mess. WE drained the entire thing, all belly plugs out, all hydro rams all the way in, even the backhoe reserves. Got 10 gallons out of a 18+ gallon capacity unit. YIKES!
